The parents of Jarred Kelenic, Mariners player who was born in nearby Waukesha, are part owners of the Dockhounds. When a Dockhounds player hits a home run and returns to the dugout fellow players put a life jacket and boaters cap on him. A group of youth line the dugout as the players take the field giving them high 5s. The mascot is is Louie B. Sluggin. He joined Andrea for a picture before the game. A between inning activity had two children trying to see how many water ballons they could throw into a blow-up kayak. The Wisconsin area had been under a heavy smoke situation from Canada and we weren't sure if we would be able to stay the whole game. You can see the red sun as it is setting and the smoke in the field lighting. We did stay, but it was uncomfortable. Instead of a cap shuffle, they put a dog bone under a dog dish for the shuffle. Tater Tots instead of French Fries are your choice at the concession stands.
