| This state welcome center traces the history of traveling west from the 1800s to the present, with emphasis on the Oregon Trail, the California Trail, the Mormon Pioneer Trail, and limited on the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Excellent metal sculptures and historic photographs reflect life along the trails.
Outside the center is the information about and the artwork that depicts the travels of Lewis & Clark in this area. It shows the expedition's struggle for daily survival and documents the land's resourses. |
