The Gwinnett Braves, a International League AAA affiliate of the Atlanta Braves, play at Gwinnett Stadium, which opened in 2009, seating 10,427. This is a great new stadium with a very nice lay-out. The Braves were playing the Norfolk Tides and won 4-1. The box score was Tides R-1, H-7, E-3 and Braves R-4, H-11, E-0. The field lines are RF-335', CF-400', LF-335'. We visited a batting and pitching practice area underneath the stands, a special season ticket area underneath the stands, suite visitors have a special area on the 2nd level, and the Little LeagueTeam of the Night area at the end of the second level on the 3rd base side. There is a party area at the end of the second level on the 1st base side. There are 21 suites. Great Kids area on the berm in right field. You can walk around the outfield. Also, youth try to hit 6 water balloons with large plastic bat after 10 turns around the bat.
