A new stadium to meet Advanced A standards opened in April 2026 for the Hillsboro Hops, the High-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks. As this is a new stadium and close to Seattle we visited it when the Hops were playing the Everett Aquasox. Plenty of pay for parking available. The ballpark seats approximately 6000 fans for baseball games. The comfortable seats are either dark or light blue with cup holders that keep your drink level. Behind home plate at the back are loge seating that provides food, snacks, soft and alcohlic drinks. Cost is $5000 per season ticket seat. In right field is a grass berm. You can walk around the outfield. Currently there is no additional name for the stadium with nothing but the address on the front of the stadium. Attendance was 2,817 on a warm 79 degrees evening. Food is available at different windows in a food circus type area on the 3rd base side. The Hops lost to the Aquasox 9-8. The box score was Hops R-8, H-13, E-2 and Aquasox R-9, H-12, E-0. The Aquasox came from behind in the 9th inning with 4 runs. All of the playing surface is synthetic turf, except for the batting circle which is dirt. The field lines are RF-325', CF-400', LCF-370', LF-325'. The mascot is Barley. Interesting graphic on the 1st base concourse giving the latitude and longitude of home plate. the scoreboard has lots of good information about each batter at bat. Two between innings contests are a race from 1st baseline foul pole to 3rd baseline foul pole of two adults. The younger male easily beat the older male. For the children there was a gunny sack race on the first baseline from about homeplate to first base and back.
