The Brevard County Manatees, a Single A affiliate of the Montreal Expos, play in Space Coast Stadium, built in 1994 with seating for 7,200. The stadium is named this because it is located just west of Cape Canaveral in Viera. The foul line poles have the names of the two space shuttles that were lost, Challenger on 3rd base line and Columbia on 1st base line. The stadium was built in 1993 and is used as a spring training facility for the Montreal Expos. It seats 8,100 and there were approximately 300 in attendance for the 1:05 game today, Sunday.
