Tonight we visited Arrowhead Credit Union Park, home of the San Bernardino Stampede, a Seattle Mariners affiliate. Tonight the Stampede was playing the Bakersfield Blaze. It was pretty much a pitcher's duel through 7 1/2 innings. The score was 1-1 with just one home run on each side until the bottom of the 8th when the Stampede got to the Blaze's relief pitcher and won 5-1. The box score was Blaze R-1, H-6, E-0 and Stampede R-5, H-10, E-1. We were announced as visitors and had the website address given. Bernie is the mascot and he did a great job getting the fans involved. Buffy shown with him is the buffalo meat products mascot. Buffalo hamburgers have been featured at a couple of the ballparks. On 50 cent Fridays they feature 50 cent admission, hotdogs and soft drinks and $1 beers. This stadium was built in 1996 and has a similar layout to many of the other stadiums we have visited that were built around the same time. The field lines are LF & RF 330' and CF 410'.
